I joined the Tapestry staff in 2014. Prior to Tapestry, I was a substitute teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools and Enterprise Charter School. I taught several years at Baker Hall School as building sub and summer school teacher. I was also lead teacher at University at Buffalo Child Care Center. I hold a BS with NYS certification in early childhood education (birth-2), childhood education (1-6), and students with disabilities (K-6). I also hold an MS in curriculum and instruction. All my education was completed at Buffalo State College. I am also a certified athletic coach for high school sports and am currently the junior varsity and varsity volleyball coach at Tapestry, as well as coach and creator of Tapestry’s first girl’s softball team which just finished its fourth year.
Before joining the staff at Tapestry, I was a parent in the community beginning in the 2012-2011 school year and I have 4 beautiful daughters. Three of my daughters currently attend Tapestry. My oldest daughter is a 2019 graduate of Tapestry and now attends the University at Buffalo. When I am not at Tapestry, you can find my family at Shoshone playground practicing or playing softball. My husband also coaches softball. I have been coaching softball since 2010.
I am very happy to be a part of the Tapestry community and look to continue for many years to come.
