Mr. Hess joined the Tapestry community in 2025 as an 8th grade spanish teacher. He holds a Master’s degree in Education focused on language acquisition and is certified in French (Grades 7–12), with additional graduate work in ESOL. A lifelong linguist, he has studied more than ten languages and is passionate about connecting culture, communication, and curiosity in his classroom.

Before joining Tapestry, Mr. Hess taught French and Spanish, redesigned language curricula, and worked with adult learners as a teacher and translator. Outside of school, he enjoys photography, community projects, and exploring Buffalo with his wife and two daughters, whom they are raising bilingually in French and English.
