Ms. Tent joined the middle school community in 2025 as a 5th grade ELA teacher after previously serving as an ELL teacher for grades K-8. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Education from SUNY Oneonta in 2020 and her master’s degree in Bilingual Education and ESOL from the University at Buffalo in 2024. Before joining Tapestry, she taught abroad in Costa Rica, Colombia, and Spain, as well as in local Buffalo public schools.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Tent enjoys traveling, learning languages, and spending time outdoors. She loves incorporating her passion for culture and adventure into her teaching and is excited to bring that energy to her 5th grade classroom.
