Ms. Hertel is joining the Tapestry Community for the 23-24 school year as one of the 5th grade math teachers. This is Ms. Hertel’s eighth year of teaching. She received both her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Canisius College in Mathematics and Secondary Education (Bachelor’s) and Differentiated Instruction (Master’s). When she is not teaching, Ms. Hertel loves to travel (Disney World is her favorite), spending time with her puppy Winnie, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Ms. Hertel also loves watching baseball, football and hockey (Go Mets, Bills and Sabres!)
