COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
March 13, 2020
Dear Tapestry Families,
Taking into account the ever evolving COVID-19 situation, and prioritizing the health and safety of all in our Tapestry community, the Compass Leadership Team has met and has decided on the following plan for next week:
Tapestry will close for all K-12 students on Monday, March 16, 2020. All TCS instructional, admin, support, facility and food service staff will report as normal. All Tapestry students will have a tentative return to school on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 but should that situation change, as this situation has at a rapid pace, it will be communicated to families, with as much warning as possible. Following Tuesday, March 17, 2020, students and families should prepare to be out of school, and for Tapestry to be closed, for an extended period of time.
At this point, it is extremely important to keep our lines of communication open and to be ready to give and receive information to and from the school. We will be in touch with additional details about our instructional and meal continuity plans. We will be using email, text and phone to communicate with you and your students. We will also be updating our Tapestry website regularly with details on this ever-changing situation. Please find updates on our website’s homepage at tapestryschool.org.
Your children’s health, safety and well being is our highest priority and we will persevere through this situation, together, as a community.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me or your child’s building principals at any time with questions or concerns.
We are crew.
Thank you,
Eric Klapper
Executive Director
