Ameenah is a dynamic and mission-driven professional with a rich background in office management and organizational leadership, honed through her work at Harlem Children’s Zone and its renowned Promise Academy schools in New York City. She holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Brockport and a master’s degree in psychology, combining academic insight with hands-on expertise to support student success.

At Tapestry Charter School, Ameenah collaborates closely with the leadership team to ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day operations—allowing the school to stay focused on its core mission of educating and inspiring a diverse K-12 learning community. Deeply passionate about youth development, she finds joy in mentoring students and creating environments where they feel seen, supported, and empowered. Ameenah is also a published author of seven young adult fiction books, using the power of storytelling to connect with and uplift the next generation.
