COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

April 6, 2020

Dear Tapestry Families,

I’m writing this afternoon with two important updates that came from Governor Cuomo and the New York State Department of Education this morning.

During his daily address, the Governor announced that he will extend school closure through April 29. This is a part of an extension of the state’s PAUSE order, which also includes closure of businesses deemed non-essential.

At today’s New York State Board of Regents meeting, the Regents announced that the Spring Regents Examinations will be canceled.  The State Education Department will issue more guidance about this change tomorrow, and when they do, we’ll follow up with you all regarding what this will mean for our students.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions or concerns.  Stay healthy, stay home, stay well… and let your children know that we miss them terribly.

We are crew.
