TAPESTRY COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

The Tapestry Community Association (TCA)

All K-12 parents/guardians, teachers, administrators and staff are members of the Tapestry Community Association. By working hard to strengthen the home/school partnership, the Tapestry Community Association enhances our school’s vibrant community of learners and leaders.

The goals of the Tapestry Community Association is to:

  • Uphold the mission of Tapestry Charter School
  • Make suggestions to improve Tapestry Charter School
  • Establish and/or chair sub-committees for a variety of purposes: fundraising, planning group educational activities, volunteer coordination, library, building and grounds, etc.
  • Support the needs of the teachers and students

Parent participation in TCA meetings is appreciated but not required. However, sharing your time and talents is an incredibly rewarding way to help our children, our school, and our community. Active involvement gives families a feeling of ownership in our school and reinforces that we have a shared responsibility for the successful education of our children.

Meetings will be on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. They are currently scheduled to take place in the cafeteria at 111 Great Arrow Avenue.
