Welcome to the Tapestry Community Association (TCA)
All parents/guardians, teachers, administrators and staff are members of the Tapestry Community Association. By working hard to strengthen the home/school partnership, the Tapestry Community Association enhances our school’s vibrant community of learners and leaders.
The goals of the Tapestry Community Association is to:
- Uphold the mission of Tapestry Charter School
- Make suggestions to improve Tapestry Charter School
- Establish and/or chair sub-committees for a variety of purposes: fundraising, planning group educational activities, volunteer coordination, library, building and grounds, etc.
- Support the needs of the teachers and students
Parent participation in TCA meetings is appreciated but not required. However, sharing your time and talents is an incredibly rewarding way to help our children, our school, and our community. Active involvement gives families a feeling of ownership in our school and reinforces that we have a shared responsibility for the successful education of our children.

TCA hosts open monthly meetings to share updates, gather feedback, and plan upcoming initiatives. These meetings are a meaningful way to stay informed, lend your voice, and connect with other members of the Tapestry community.

Special Events
The Tapestry Community Association (TCA) hosts a variety of special events throughout the school year to bring families, students, and staff together while raising funds to support community programs. Signature events include HarvestFest in the fall, WinterFest, along with family-friendly fundraisers such as Trunk or Treat, the Meat Raffle, and the Mum Sale. These gatherings combine fun activities—like games, food stations, performances, and student showcases—with opportunities for parents and caregivers to engage with the school community. Each event is designed to celebrate Tapestry’s culture, strengthen connections, and invest directly back into student and family experiences.
