ARP ESSER Plan

Plan Requirement:  All public school districts, Local Educational Agency, (LEA) participating in the American Recovery Rescue Plan (ARP) are required to establish a plan for the usage of the ARP funds that complies with the program’s guidelines. These guidelines further state that the ARP plan created by the District should allow for the continuation of the programs or program related items beyond the availability of these federal funds.

(Required 20% Learning Loss) Addressing the need of the COVID‐19 pandemic on students; including the impacts of interrupted instruction and learning loss and the impacts on low‐income students, students with disabilities, English language learners, and students experiencing homelessness.

Implementing evidence‐ based strategies to meet students’ social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs.

Address post‐COVID student social, emotional, mental health needs by utilizing counselors and social workers, to work with students.

This embedded enhanced program utilizing a combination of new and existing support staff was specifically designed to customize targeted and focused literacy, math and SEL instruction to meet student needs and support students throughout the school year. This program encompasses a comprehensive and engaging curriculum focused on critical aspects of literacy such as phonemic awareness, phonics, comprehension, text structure, text genres, standards‐based foundational skills instruction, and writing. Mini‐lessons, recommended text collections to support student reading/writing, as well as video support for students, teachers, and parents are also included. $530,612
