Mrs. Steffan joined the Tapestry Charter School community in October 2017 after moving to Buffalo from southern California. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics with a specialization in high school education from the University of California at Irvine (UCI). Mrs. Steffan also received her Master’s Degree in Education and her Single Subject Credential in Mathematics from UCI. She has experience working with all levels, from 3-5-year-old students at her first job at a Kumon Math and Reading Center all the way to college students at Bryant & Stratton College. Currently Mrs. Steffan teaches 7th grade math at Tapestry and is looking forward to teaching in this new learning model. She is absolutely committed to making math understandable and fun! When not at school Mrs. Steffan enjoys spending time with her family, going camping and hiking, and cooking and baking. She is also an advanced scuba diver!
