My Tapestry journey started in 2001 when my brother enrolled as a 2nd grader. A few years later, I started as a Kindergartener in Ms. Gina’s class and happily stayed until graduating in 2015. After high school, I moved to Saratoga Springs for four years to attend Skidmore College, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education Studies and Anthropology. I returned to the Tapestry community in 2019 as a Kindergarten Teaching Partner with Miss Jessica in the Excellent Elephants. In 2021, I graduated from Buffalo State with my Master’s in Urban Education. I also moved up to teach the 4th grade Daring Dinosaurs! Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my friends, family, and my dog Sketch. I believe that children have a right to an education that builds on their strengths and supports them to be kind, empowered, and joyful.
