Mr. Goehrig joined Tapestry in Spring of 2021 and is now our Middle School Math Specialist where he teaches Math Lab for 6th and 7th grade.  Mr. Goehrig has been teaching at the Gifted Math Program since 2013 at both the 7th grade and 9th grade level and also coaches the UB Competes competitive math team.  He achieved a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in cognitive linguistics in 2012 from SUNY at Buffalo. Previously Mr. Goehrig had a career as a pastry chef and these days, outside of work, he is an avid gardener, hiker, cyclist, reader, and board gamer.
