Ms. Catalano has been a founding educator at Tapestry Charter School since 2001, and is currently teaching Art Education to grades 5-8 and 11-12. She graduated in 1996 from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Sculpture. She has also acquired a minor in Printmaking and Art History. By May of 1998 she completed her Master of Fine Art in Sculpture with a minor in Printmaking at UB. While continuing to exhibit work in small galleries within the downtown district, she pursued a degree in the Art education Certification Program at Buffalo State College. Ms. Catalano is also an active instructor in the education program, Art with Artists, Adventures in Art, and AK Teen Portfolio Review Day instituted by the Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s Education Department.
