Nicole Terranova5th Grade Science Teacher

Ms. Terranova joined the Tapestry community in 2025 and teaches 5th grade science. A Buffalo native; she spent 17 years in California teaching science, student council, yearbook, and video production before returning home. Most recently, she served as the Education Director for a National Science Foundation Science and Technology Center housed at the University at Buffalo. Ms. Terranova holds a degree in Zoology and has a deep love for animals – especially her 18-year-old pug. Outside of school, she enjoys DIY projects, gardening, cooking, crafting, and exploring new adventures with her two children. She is thrilled to return to the classroom and be part of the Tapestry community.
