Mr. Close has been with Tapestry Middle School since 2018.  He is very excited to launch the new Humanities Course this year in 7th Grade. He has many interests which include spending time with family, watching and playing sports, the Bills and Sabres, and theatre.  His favorite musical is Les Miserables!  Mr. Close has previously worked in Amherst as a Social Studies Teacher, Assistant Dean of Students and as the Football, Track, and Mock Trial Coach.
