Marc LaMorticella is a graduate from Cortland state with a undergrad in Physical Education he went on to achieve his masters in administration at Canisius.  Marc has been at Tapestry Charter School since its first year in 2001. As a Physical Education teacher Marc will instill lifelong fitness into the Tapestry community by exposing students to a wide variety of activities through the PE curriculum.  Athletics for the Thunderhawks has become an important piece to the culture of the community. As a Athletic Director, Mr. LaMorticella is passionate about the benefits that participation in a sport can instill in student athletes. There are valuable lessons in character building that the Thunderhawk coaches and teachers instill in our student athletes.  As a leader in Charter school athletics for the last several years Marc has been appointed the Charter Liaison position through Erie 1 Boces and attends section 6 athletic council meetings.
