Mr. Boesken is entering his 7th year at Tapestry Charter School. He is the current 11th Grade United States History and Government teacher as well as the Social Studies Department Chair.  Bringing over 16 years of educational experience, Mr. Boesken has taught Social Studies at the Middle and High School levels.  Before joining the Tapestry Community, Mr. Boesken taught Social Studies for 10 years in South Carolina.   With a strong emphasis on creating meaningful, real-world learning experiences, students can expect a classroom that fosters inquiry, peer collaboration, and, most importantly, the building of strong relationships to develop motivation, confidence, and critical thinking skills.
Mr. Boesken holds a Dual Degree, Majoring in Adolescence Social Studies Education and History from SUNY Fredonia, as well as a Master’s in Literacy Education from Niagara University.  Outside the classroom, Mr. Boesken enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, attending live music events, and watching the Buffalo Bills!
