Sarah Dierken serves as the Expeditionary Learning (EL) Instructional Coach for grades 9-12 at Tapestry Charter High School. Mrs. Dierken joined the Tapestry community in 2016 as a high school Spanish teacher and has taught all levels Spanish 1-5. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education with an extension for grades 5-12 in Spanish Education and her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on English Language Learners from Buffalo State College. Currently, she helps run National Honor Society, teaches the dual-credit Spanish college class, and supports teachers in EL structures like Crew, Community Meetings, Passage Portfolios, Student Led Conferences, and Intensives. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, fishing, exercising, and spending time with her husband and two children.
