This will be my 14th year teaching at Tapestry Charter and my 20th year in the classroom. I am a certified ELA teacher who has always had a passion for theater as an actor, director, and instructor. In 2010 I had the privilege of offering the first theater arts elective to our HS students and have watched the theater program grow and develop. Prior to working at Tapestry I taught ELA and Humanities for many years in Brooklyn, NY. I received a B.A. in Cinema from Binghamton University , Masters of Secondary Education from the New School University, and completed doctoral coursework in the Social Foundations of Education at the University of Buffalo. Outside of school I enjoy reading in my hammock, gardening, preparing Mexican food, yoga, running, and spending time with friends and my beautiful daughter, Stella.
